Creators HQ and TikTok have wrapped up the second edition of their joint regional bootcamp, a four-day intensive programme held from 16 to 19 June at Creators HQ in the UAE, the region's first dedicated content creator hub.
The bootcamp, part of an ongoing strategic partnership, was designed to equip both aspiring and established creators with the skills needed to build sustainable careers in the digital space. It drew on five core pillars: TikTok content fundamentals, high-quality content strategy, advanced cinematography, digital safety, and content monetisation.
Participants received hands-on training in platform algorithms, audience growth strategies, and digital identity development. Practical workshops delivered in collaboration with Sukoon Studio covered professional framing, lighting, audio engineering, and advanced editing through CapCut, including green screen tools, transitions, and animations.
The programme also featured a dedicated session with Sociata, a leading MENA influencer marketing platform, focusing on brand partnerships and market expectations, alongside training in TikTok LIVE to help creators generate income through live streaming.
Hussein Al Atoli, Director of the New Media Academy, said the bootcamp built on the success of its inaugural edition and reflected the UAE's broader vision of positioning digital innovation as a core driver of the creator economy.
Keren Haddad, Head of Content Operations at TikTok MENA, said the initiative was aimed at bridging the gap between content creation as a hobby and as a profession, giving participants practical insight into platform dynamics and industry best practices.
The programme concluded with a competition running across the training period, with daily live challenges testing participants' knowledge and awarding prizes throughout.
