Dubai Duty Free has claimed the Best Duty Free Shopping in the Middle East title at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards for the 25th year running, cementing its standing as the region's most trusted airport retail destination.

The award was presented at the 25th Business Traveller Middle East Awards ceremony held at the InterContinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City. It was received on behalf of Dubai Duty Free by Senior Vice President of Marketing Sinead El Sibai and Senior Manager of Marketing Salim Dahman.

The recognition comes off the back of a record-breaking year for the retailer, which posted annual sales of US$2.378 billion in 2025, placing it fifth among duty-free operators globally.

Managing Director Ramesh Cidambi credited the milestone to the team behind the operation.

"Winning this award for the 25th consecutive year is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the dedication, professionalism and passion of our entire team,"

he said, adding that the company remains focused on innovation, customer service and an ever-evolving product mix.

The Business Traveller Middle East Awards are determined by reader votes from the magazine's audience of frequent travellers, making the recognition a direct reflection of passenger experience rather than industry jury decisions. Winners are drawn from across the aviation, hospitality and travel sectors.

For Dubai Duty Free, a quarter-century of consecutive wins is more than a record, it signals a sustained alignment between what travellers want and what the retailer continues to deliver at one of the world's busiest airports.
