Dubai has taken a further step to strengthen its digital trade ecosystem as the Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Chambers announced a strategic partnership with Tradeling to support small and medium-sized enterprises in wholesale and B2B markets.

The collaboration, launched under the Dubai Traders initiative, aims to help Dubai-based SMEs transition into digital wholesale trading and access larger institutional buyers across regional and international markets. The agreement was signed by senior officials from the Department of Economy and Tourism and Tradeling, in the presence of representatives from Dubai Chambers and other economic stakeholders.

Tradeling, the MENA region’s largest B2B digital ecosystem and a Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority entity, will play a central role in expanding Dubai Traders beyond its initial focus on B2C platforms. The initiative has already built momentum through partnerships with noon and Amazon and is now extending its reach to manufacturers, distributors, exporters, and wholesale traders.

Launched in 2024, Dubai Traders is a core pillar of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double the size of Dubai’s economy by 2033 and strengthen its position as a global business and innovation hub.

Through the partnership, participating SMEs will gain access to incentives and enablement tools designed to reduce barriers to digital adoption and accelerate B2B growth. These include reduced platform commissions and fulfilment fees, discounted advertising packages, dedicated onboarding support, and access to training and educational resources.

Additional benefits include advanced data and analytics tools, enhanced platform visibility, and targeted marketing support. Emirati-owned businesses will receive tailored assistance such as customised growth roadmaps, branding support, and priority placement opportunities to help them scale sustainably in regional and international markets.
