Dubai International Financial Centre has handed the main construction contract for its AED3 billion DIFC Heights Tower to Al Basti & Muktha LLC, pushing forward one of the district's most significant developments in years.
The mixed-use project sits on the final remaining plot within DIFC's original land bank, located in the Gate District. Once complete, it will house 366 luxury residences alongside premium office space and a mix of retail and dining outlets. Developers are targeting completion by 2029.
The contract award marks a major step in DIFC's ongoing expansion as a global hub for business and lifestyle. It reflects rising demand for centrally located, high end urban living in Dubai, a trend that has gathered pace across the emirate in recent years.

The announcement was marked at a top level meeting between Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Authority, and Tushar Pathak, Chairman of Al Basti & Muktha LLC. Senior representatives from both organisations attended the event, which concluded with a group photograph commemorating the agreement.
DIFC Heights Tower adds to a growing list of major projects reshaping the district's skyline as it cements its position as one of the region's leading financial and lifestyle destinations. The development is expected to further strengthen DIFC's appeal to residents, businesses and investors seeking a premium address in the heart of Dubai.
