Dubai Police recorded a 99.9% score in the daytime safety perception index for 2025, capping a year of near flawless results across the emirate's flagship security assessments.
The figure formed part of the broader Security Quality of Life Index, where the force posted an overall score of 98.2%, according to the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.
Brigadier Saeed Abdullah bin Tuwair Al Suwaidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, praised the results, noting that the index also includes a 98.7% score for nighttime walking safety and a 96.2% score for confidence in police stations. He credited the outcome to coordinated efforts across the force's operational and administrative sectors.
Dubai Police also posted strong results across seven strategic pillars covering institutional excellence, smart security systems, digital services, innovation, talent recruitment and contact centre performance. Digital transformation stood out, with a 97.7% adoption rate for transactions and more than 218 million digital transactions processed through the year. Customer satisfaction with digital channels reached 96.9%, while the Future Readiness and Innovation Index hit 93.3%.
The force handled 6.9 million emergency and non-emergency calls in 2025 and received 51 awards, including 12 international honours, cementing its regional and global standing.
Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, attributed the achievements to sustained support from UAE leadership and the Dubai Government, along with the professionalism of police personnel.
Adding to the year's accolades, Dubai Police topped Brand Finance's global police brand value ranking, earning an AAA+ rating with a score of 9.2 out of 10. The force also contributed AED57.9 billion to the UAE's national brand value, reinforcing its role in the country's global standing.
