Digital Dubai has renewed its membership in the Gartner Research Board for Global Chief Data and Analytics Officers (CDAO), reinforcing its position as a global leader in digital transformation and data-driven innovation.

The renewal was formalised at a ceremony in London attended by Neil Lock, Vice President and Programme Director at Gartner, and Younus Al Nasser, Chief Executive of the Dubai Data & Statistics Establishment. The agreement ensures Digital Dubai remains part of a high-level forum that brings together global leaders to shape the future of data and analytics.

The Gartner CDAO Research Board is a strategic platform offering cutting-edge insights on big data, artificial intelligence, and digital governance. Continued membership allows Digital Dubai to both contribute to and benefit from this global exchange of expertise.

Younus Al Nasser described the renewed partnership as a “strategic opportunity” to share Dubai’s experience and learn from global leaders. He highlighted Dubai’s digital journey as one built on collaboration, innovation, and a strong commitment to enhancing human well-being through technology.

Neil Lock welcomed the extension, stating that it reflects Digital Dubai’s prominent role in the global data landscape. He affirmed Gartner’s commitment to supporting Dubai’s digital ambitions as a trusted advisory partner.

The collaboration builds on a longstanding relationship between Digital Dubai and Gartner, which began with the emirate’s 2022 membership in the Global Gartner CIO Research Board—an initiative that marked the first government participation from the Middle East.

This renewed membership reinforces Dubai’s growing influence in shaping international standards for digital development, data governance, and technological innovation.
