Digital Dubai to Showcase Latest AI-Powered Innovations at GITEX Global 2024

Digital Dubai has announced its participation in GITEX Global 2024, where it will present the Dubai Government’s innovative digital transformation initiatives.

The world’s largest technology event is scheduled from 14th to 18th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Under the unified 'Dubai Government Pavilion,' Digital Dubai will showcase advancements from over 45 government and private sector entities, focusing on digital innovation and the city’s vision of becoming a leading smart city. The pavilion will spotlight artificial intelligence (AI)-driven solutions, highlighting AI’s role in shaping the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, emphasized the significance of GITEX Global, stating,

“This annual event reflects Dubai’s progress toward a future defined by cutting-edge IT advancements. We are excited about the pioneering innovations that will be presented, aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”

The pavilion will feature key government bodies, including the Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Culture, and Dubai Courts. Major private sector players like Etisalat, Dubai Airports, and Moro Hub will also participate.

GITEX Global 2024 will host over 6,000 exhibitors and 1,800 speakers from 180 countries, showcasing the latest trends in AI, cybersecurity, mobility, and sustainable technology. Digital Dubai aims to leverage the event to enhance its digital strategy, contribute AED100 billion to the digital economy, and improve Dubai’s global ranking in digital innovation.

Attendees can expect an array of events, partnerships, and expert presentations, positioning Dubai as a global leader in digital transformation.
