du has successfully deployed its National Hypercloud platform for Dubai Taxi Company (DTC), marking the UAE transport sector's first full scale modernisation on a sovereign cloud infrastructure and delivering on an MoU signed by both companies at GITEX Global 2025.
DTC's core systems have now migrated to du's Oracle Alloy based sovereign cloud platform, giving the company high speed compute, autonomous databases and AI ready infrastructure hosted entirely within the UAE. The move brings DTC into full compliance with the UAE's Cloud First mandate while guaranteeing complete data sovereignty, a factor du positions as a key advantage over global hyperscaler options.
The go-live was celebrated at an event held at du's Dubai headquarters, with senior leaders from both organisations in attendance. These included du CEO Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief ICT Officer Jasim Al Awadi, DTC Group CEO Mansoor Rahma AlFalasi and Group CCSO Alfadhel Alhemeiri.
Al Hassawi described the deployment as a pivotal moment for sovereign digital transformation in the country, noting that close collaboration with DTC's technical team enabled a secure, AI ready platform that cuts legacy technical debt and prepares the company for next generation mobility integration. He added that the project offers a repeatable blueprint for other government linked enterprises pursuing digital autonomy.
For DTC, the migration brings improved system performance, lower operational costs and reduced technical complexity, along with a future ready foundation for expanding digital mobility services. The platform also enables real time decision making and AI driven analytics across the organisation.
AlFalasi called the deployment a major milestone in DTC's digital transformation journey and reaffirmed the company's commitment to strengthening security, resilience and scalability as Dubai advances its smart mobility ambitions.
