  2. Use the dedicated portal on the RTA website to pay fines online.
  3. Visit RTA Customer Happiness Centres located around the city to pay fines in person. You'll need the fine number provided by the RTA at the time of issuing.
  4. For bus passengers, fines can be paid through self-service machines.

If you believe you've been unfairly fined, you can dispute it with the RTA. Here's how:

  1. Gather all necessary documents including the fine number from the notification, fine payment receipt, a letter with the bank account number, and Emirates ID.
  2. Dispute your fine through the RTA website for bus fines within 30 days of receiving the fine.
  • Visit the RTA website and upload the required documents.
  • You'll receive an SMS from RTA with your case number and expected response date.
  • Once your case is decided, you'll receive a notification from RTA informing you whether your appeal was accepted or rejected. If accepted, the fine amount will be refunded to your account.
