Dubai International Airport (DXB) announced that it has introduced dedicated passport control lanes and counters for young travelers.

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai released a statement, stating that new passport control platforms have been added for children between the ages of four and 12.

These new counters have a unique, eye-catching space-themed design and are located in the arrivals hall of Terminal 3 at DXB. Additionally, children in this area are given the exciting opportunity to stamp their own passports.

According to the GDRFA, on special occasions, young travelers are welcomed by two mascots, 'Salem and Salama', who are dressed in the uniform of Dubai GDRFA employees.

The authority stated that Salem and Salama were created to foster relationships and bring joy to young visitors from the moment they arrive in the city.
