Dubai Chambers has announced the programme for the upcoming Dubai Business Forum – China, set to take place in Shenzhen on 14 October under the theme "Momentum at Scale: Accelerating Shared Success."
The event will bring together senior officials, business leaders, and industry experts to explore deeper economic cooperation between Dubai and China across trade, investment, technology, and innovation, aligning with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the partnership between the two markets has moved beyond traditional trade ties toward a broader platform centred on investment and shared value creation. He noted that Dubai's business ecosystem positions Chinese companies to tap into opportunities in artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, logistics, and digital platforms while expanding into regional and global markets.
The confirmed speaker lineup includes Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers; Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to China; and Hadi Badri, CEO of the Dubai Economic Development Corporation. Executives from Emirates SkyCargo, DP World, Baidu, Tencent Cloud, Huawei Cloud, BYD, and other major firms will also take part.
Sessions will examine the shift from trade-focused ties to partnerships built on innovation, capital, and regional expansion. Topics will include large-scale AI deployment, autonomous mobility, smart capital flows, fintech, advanced manufacturing, and the growth of Chinese electric vehicle companies across the region. Discussions will also address trade corridor development and the regulatory conditions needed to scale new technologies.
This marks the fifth international edition of the Dubai Business Forum and the second held in China, following the Beijing edition in August 2024, which drew more than 800 business leaders. Previous editions have also taken place in London, Hamburg, and New York as part of Dubai Chambers' ongoing push to expand global investment partnerships.
