Dubai Culture obtains ISO certifications
Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has obtained the ISO certificate (ISO 30415:2021) in diversity and inclusion and another (ISO 30406:2017) in sustainable employability management, to be the first government entity regionally and globally to achieve such a feat.
This is the fruit of the Authority's efforts to implement the highest international standards in empowering cadres and human resources management, which enhances its position and efforts in activating and leading the cultural movement in Dubai.
Dubai Culture proved eligible for the ‘ISO’ after its success in passing the comprehensive external audits conducted by the German company ‘TÜV Rheinland Middle East’. The company grants international certificates to institutions that achieve the highest levels of care in applying best practices related to human resources management.
Mohammed Obaid Al Marri, Director of the Human Resources Department, affirmed the Authority’s pride in this achievement, considering that it represents an appreciation for the efforts made by the Dubai Culture team in managing and empowering human resources.
Al Marri said:
“The Authority’s uniqueness in obtaining ISO certificates in new and modern fields such as diversity, inclusion and sustainable employment reflects its excellence and the support it provides to its human cadres to enhance their capabilities, which is in line with the standards applied by the Dubai government.”
Al Marri stressed that Dubai Culture obtaining these certificates fits its commitments aimed at applying the best practices and administrative standards followed globally to raise the efficiency of its business and the quality of outputs and develop its mechanisms continuously, indicating that the international ISO certificates confirm that Dubai Culture has an integrated internal administrative system, which depends on a clear methodology in managing various projects, programmes and initiatives related to its strategic objectives, the UAE’s national agenda, and a number of global practices and systems, through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) designed to form a roadmap for achieving a better future for employees.
This achievement fits Dubai Culture’s strategy to develop a comprehensive and attractive work environment, and to enhance and develop the capabilities of its human resources to contribute effectively to the embodiment of the Authority's objectives aimed at implementing an integrated administrative system that guarantees transparency and helps to achieve positive results at all levels.
