The Dubai Government, represented by Digital Dubai and the Department of Finance, has announced the integration of Tabby into DubaiPay, the unified digital payment hub for government services.

This move introduces round-the-clock deferred payment services, allowing citizens, residents, and visitors to pay in flexible installments.

With Tabby joining DubaiPay’s diverse payment options—including credit cards, direct debit, smart wallets, and Apple Pay—users now have more financial flexibility. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s digital transformation strategy, reinforcing the emirate’s status as a global financial and digital hub.

Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, Director-General of the Department of Finance, emphasized that this integration supports Dubai’s Cashless Strategy and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to position Dubai as a leading business and investment destination. He highlighted the initiative’s role in strengthening the emirate’s digital financial infrastructure.

Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, noted that Tabby’s inclusion marks a significant milestone in digital transformation, enhancing ease of transactions for individuals and businesses. Matar Al Hemeiri, CEO of Digital Dubai Government Establishment, added that integrating private sector solutions into DubaiPay builds trust and accelerates digital adoption.

Ahmad Ali Meftah, Director of General Accounting at the Department of Finance, highlighted the benefits of deferred payments, including improved financial flexibility, support for SMEs, and easing financial burdens. Amna Mohamed Bin Lootah, Director of Smart Financial Services, encouraged Dubai residents and businesses to utilize the service, reaffirming the government’s commitment to customer convenience.

With DubaiPay ensuring compliance with global security standards, this integration positions the emirate at the forefront of smart financial services, making government transactions more seamless and accessible.
