Dubai Holding Asset Management (DHAM) has broken ground on Lantana Hills, a premium gated community of 390 townhouses at Dubai Science Park in Al Barsha South, with Group AMANA appointed as main contractor under an AED 680 million agreement.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Malek Al Malek, Group CEO of DHAM, alongside senior leaders from both organisations, including Group AMANA's CEO Richard Abboud.

Offering 3- and 4-bedroom family homes, Lantana Hills is designed around modern living, with landscaped open spaces, community amenities, and easy access to schools, healthcare facilities, and retail destinations. Handover is scheduled for the second half of 2027.

A standout feature of the project is its construction approach. Group AMANA will deploy modular technologies through DuBox and DuPod, with approximately 85% of the work completed off-site. The method is expected to reduce material waste by up to 30% and improve on-site safety by more than 70% compared to conventional construction. A record 2,730 modular units and 2,020 bathroom pods will be manufactured in a controlled factory environment to ensure quality and precision.

Sustainability is central to the development. Lantana Hills has already achieved LEED for Cities and Communities: Plan and Design Silver Precertification, with full certification in progress.

Strategically positioned within Dubai Science Park, the community offers strong city-wide connectivity, with Dubai Hills Mall reachable in 10 minutes, Mall of the Emirates in 15, and Al Maktoum International Airport within 25 minutes.

The project marks a significant step in DHAM's ongoing expansion of its managed residential leasing portfolio, reinforcing its broader commitment to delivering integrated, future-ready communities across Dubai.
