Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the Dubai International Baja will take place from November 20 to 23, marking the grand finale of the FIA World Baja Cup for cars and the FIM Baja World Cup for bikes and quads.

Organised by the Emirates Motorsport Organisation (EMSO), the event stands as one of the toughest and most scenic off-road challenges on the global motorsport calendar. Now in its ninth edition under the Baja format and 46 years since its inception as the Dubai Rally in 1979, the race continues to draw elite competitors and fans from around the world.

This year’s course will begin from Dubai Festival City, with a prologue through the rugged Hatta region in the Hajar Mountains before two demanding days in the Al Qudra desert dunes. The event’s unique mix of terrains highlights both the natural beauty and the endurance-testing conditions of the UAE.

Supported by key Dubai Government entities, including Dubai Police, RTA, and Dubai Municipality, along with Official Automotive Partner Al-Futtaim Toyota, the Baja continues to strengthen Dubai’s standing as a global sporting hub.

Registration closes on November 6, after which the contenders aiming to follow the 2024 champions Nasser Al Attiyah, Konrad Dabrowski, and Abdulaziz Ahli will be revealed.

Khalid Ben Sulayem, President of the EMSO, said the Baja’s continued success reflects Dubai’s commitment to hosting world-class motorsport events. He added that this year’s edition combines tradition and innovation, promising a memorable conclusion to the 2025 off-road racing season.
