Dubai Launches Unified #Ramadan_in_Dubai Campaign
Under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council (DMC), the #Ramadan_in_Dubai campaign was launched today by the Dubai Media Council.
The #Ramadan_in_Dubai campaign, announced at a press conference by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, marks the first unified celebration of the Holy Month involving both public and private sectors. The initiative aims to showcase the unique spirit, beauty, and warmth of Ramadan, aligning with Dubai's vision to be the world's best city. Overseen by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, the campaign seeks to create a memorable experience by bringing together Ramadan festivities organized by various entities.
Sheikh Ahmed emphasized the goal of enhancing Dubai's cultural identity, promoting coexistence, and fostering harmony among diverse cultures. He directed collaborative efforts to ensure a distinctive and authentic celebration that reflects Emirati customs and traditions, contributing to the city's reputation for fostering happiness and well-being.
The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai has been designated a Strategic Partner for the #Ramadan_in_Dubai campaign, joining other partners such as the Department of Economy and Tourism, EMAAR, Dubai Municipality, Majid Al Futtaim Group, Community Development Authority in Dubai, Dubai Holding, Expo City Dubai, Nakheel, Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department, Wasl Properties, Dubai Police, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA), Ferjan Dubai, Dubai Media, Dubai Sports Council, and Global Village.
During a press conference, Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, and Director-General of GDMO, expressed gratitude to all partners and highlighted the campaign's focus on uniting public and private entities for a shared celebration during Ramadan. Emphasizing the campaign's role in showcasing festivities locally and internationally, Al Marri underscored the Government of Dubai Media Office's commitment to supporting media coverage of events and celebrations throughout the Holy Month.
