Dubai Municipality has announced the exclusive allocation of four public beaches for families during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, aiming to enhance safety, comfort, and the overall beach experience.
The designated beaches are Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, and Umm Suqeim 2.
The move comes in response to the surge in visitors typically seen during the holiday period. By reserving these beaches for families, the Municipality seeks to create a more secure and enjoyable environment tailored to their needs.
To ensure public safety, the Municipality has deployed 126 trained safety and rescue personnel equipped with advanced tools and support systems. A further team of 100 inspectors will oversee beach operations, managing crowds, traffic, and incident response throughout the holiday.
This initiative aligns with Dubai’s broader strategy to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors by improving public spaces. The Municipality highlighted its ongoing commitment to offering integrated, family-oriented facilities and ensuring beaches remain inclusive and accessible for all.
In coordination with strategic partners, Dubai Municipality will maintain active monitoring of beach activities during the holiday to uphold safety standards and provide a welcoming recreational atmosphere.
