Dubai PodFest is set to gather leading podcasters, content creators and media executives for its fifth edition, opening a fresh round of conversations on where Arab podcasting is headed next.
The event will bring together seasoned professionals and emerging talent to examine the rapid growth of digital media and how it can help Arab creators reach wider and more competitive audiences. Discussions will center on the transformations reshaping the audio content industry, along with strategies to build a more sustainable and economically viable sector.
Sessions will also look at the shifting relationship between creators and their audiences, as well as the growing role of technology in shaping how content is produced, distributed and discovered.
Wedad Kahoor, a member of the Organising Committee of the Arab Media Summit 2026, described Dubai PodFest as a vital platform for professionals, experts and rising creators to address the opportunities and challenges facing the region's podcasting landscape. She noted that podcasting has evolved considerably in its content, production tools and audience reach, and that the real challenge now lies in turning that momentum into lasting impact.
Kahoor added that the Arab world possesses the talent, ideas and stories needed to produce content that reflects its culture while resonating with global audiences. She pointed to Dubai's continued efforts to create platforms that inspire creators and expand opportunities for Arab talent on the world stage.
