Dubai Police has equipped its “Ferrari Mansory” patrol with a portable smart bag called “Himmah X”, designed to help officers communicate with and assist people of determination directly at tourist sites.
The patrol, operated by the Tourist Police Department under the General Department of Criminal Investigation, was unveiled on the first day of AccessAbilities Expo 2026. The bag holds electronic devices and assistive technologies that help officers interact with people of various disability categories, reduce communication barriers and respond faster in the field.
The force is exhibiting at Za’abeel Hall 6 under the slogan “Limitless Abilities… Aspirations Shape the Future”. Services that were once available only at service centres can now reach visitors where they are, supporting the emirate’s push for an accessible and inclusive tourism environment.
Major Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Mazrouei, Acting Chairperson of the People of Determination Empowerment Council at Dubai Police, said innovation goes beyond systems and vehicles to creating a tangible positive impact on people’s lives. He added that the effort supports Dubai’s vision of being the friendliest city for people of determination.
Mohammad Al Hajjaji, the council’s Secretary, said the idea is to make assistive tools part of field services so people do not have to search for the right means of communication. He said true excellence lies in using technology to serve people rather than in the power or luxury of a vehicle.
The stand also features the “Determination Challenge” game, with 20 daily questions on interacting with people of determination. Visitors can also try the “Our Touch Creates Art” initiative, run with the Positive Spirit Council, and the “Little Translator” programme, which involves Hemaya Schools students and promotes sign language learning.
