Dubai Police Introduces Bentley Continental GT-V8 to Patrol Car Fleet

The Dubai Police announced a new addition to its fleet. The emirate’s police force inducted a new Bentley Continental GT-V8 into its fleet.

The Bentley Continental GT-V8 is an ultra-luxury vehicle that boasts an 8-cylinder engine with 542 horsepower.

The car painted in Dubai Police’s white and green livery can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.9 seconds.

The unveiling ceremony was held at the Dubai Police Officers Club on July 16. It was attended by Major General Jamal Al Jallaf, director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation. The formal handover was conducted by Dani Kakoun, National Brand Manager at Bentley, and Michael Khairy, the company’s Financial Officer. Al Habtoor Motors is UAE’s exclusive distributor of Bentley cars.

Major General Al Jallaf was given a rundown of the car’s specifications at the event. He praised the close collaboration with Al Habtoor Motors and highlighted Dubai Police’s commitment to bolstering the security presence at tourist attractions and various locations by adding luxurious patrols to the Tourist Police’s fleet.

“This effort is part of the Dubai Police’s strategy to upgrade all vehicles used in different operations, contributing to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the Dubai Police in maintaining safety and security,”

he added.

Dubai Police’s garage

Dubai Police first inducted a Bentley into its fleet over a decade ago. It has since inducted supercars such as the Bugatti Veyron, Aston Martin One-77, Lamborghini Aventador, and a Brabus Mercedes-Benz G-class. More recently, Dubai Police has also onboarded electric vehicles such as the Hongqi E-HS9 luxury SUV and Audi e-tron GT.
