The Dubai Press Club launches the "Arab Podcast Programme", aiming to cultivate audio content creation skills in the Arab world.

Announced during the Arab Media Forum, the initiative collaborates with regional and global podcasting platforms to enhance the region's media industry.

The Arab Podcast Programme launched based on Dubai Press Club's report, "Generating Insights into the Podcasting Industry in the Arab World", documenting regional podcasting's growth and opportunities. Partners include Hakawati, Amaeya Media, Dubai Media Incorporated, and others.

Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, and President of DPC, announces the launch of the 'Arab Podcast Programme', aiming to boost podcasting in the Arab world. Aligned with Dubai's vision, it supports talent and fosters media growth through collaboration and innovation, under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The comprehensive programme will provide specialised training through theoretical and practical courses, workshops, and panel discussions featuring renowned content creators. The initiative will serve as a platform to discover and develop exceptional talent while promoting the growth of the industry, which has attracted huge following among Arab audiences, particularly the youth.

Dr. Maitha Buhumaid, Director of DPC, announced the 'Arab Podcast Programme', emphasizing collaborations with podcasting experts and partnerships forged through events like Dubai PodFest. The program offers training in various aspects of podcast creation to empower participants in producing impactful Arabic audio content.

The Arab Podcast Programme is based on insights from a report. It aims to facilitate the growth of podcasting in the Arab world by providing tools, support, and career pathways for content creators. Supported by media organizations and colleges, it fosters talent and innovation in digital media.
