The Dubai Press Club has launched a new series of dialogue sessions aimed at examining the region’s shifting political, security, and economic landscape, bringing together leading voices from across the UAE and the Arab world.
The inaugural session, held at the Club’s headquarters, convened political figures, media leaders, academics, and content creators to explore how ongoing developments are shaping Gulf growth and broader regional stability. The initiative seeks to deliver informed perspectives through structured discussions grounded in analysis and evidence.
Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, said the series reflects the Club’s role as a platform for meaningful dialogue during a critical period. She highlighted the resilience of UAE society and described the country’s response to recent regional challenges as measured and effective.
The sessions will feature prominent speakers, including Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti, and Dr. Sultan Mohammed Al Nuaimi, who will address key issues impacting regional and international stability.
The first discussion, titled “Reputation Management and the National Narrative,” featured Emirati political analyst Mohammed Al Hammadi. He emphasized the UAE’s consistent focus on stability and the importance of building a strong, multilingual media narrative to counter misinformation and accurately communicate the nation’s position globally.
Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, said the initiative draws on the Club’s extensive regional network to promote fact-based understanding and informed public awareness. She underscored the role of responsible media in supporting development, strengthening stability, and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a hub for dialogue and ideas.
