Dubai Signs Agreements With Ericsson and Kry

Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, witnessed the signing of two cooperation agreements with leading Swedish firms during a high-level visit to Sweden, covering digital transformation and healthcare innovation.

The visit, led by Sheikha Latifa at the head of a delegation of ministers and senior government officials, was aimed at strengthening international partnerships and exchanging expertise across future-oriented sectors.

The first agreement was signed between the Digital Dubai Authority and Ericsson, a global leader in telecommunications infrastructure and 5G networks. The deal was signed by Matar AlHemeiri, CEO of Digital Dubai Government Establishment, and Petra Schirren, President of Ericsson Gulf. It focuses on sharing best practices in digital transformation and AI, and advancing digital systems that support Dubai's broader transformation agenda.

The second agreement brought together the Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Health with Kry, Europe's largest digital healthcare provider. Signed by Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health; Asma Al Sharif, CEO of the Dubai Health Insurance Corporation; and Johannes Schildt, Founder of Kry, the agreement is aimed at deepening collaboration in health technology and healthcare innovation.

Both deals reflect Dubai's continued push to build a global network of strategic partnerships with world-class institutions, drawing on advanced international expertise to develop innovative models across key sectors.
