Dubai Sports Channels has signed a landmark deal with the Dutch Eredivisie Professional Football League, securing exclusive broadcasting rights for the next three years.
The agreement, announced by Dubai Media Incorporated, marks a strategic push to expand the network’s international sports coverage and enhance its appeal to Arab football fans. Starting August, Dubai Sports will begin airing Eredivisie matches, bringing the action from top Dutch clubs like Ajax, Feyenoord, and PSV directly to viewers across the region.
The official signing took place in the presence of Abdul Rahman Amin, Director of Dubai Sports Channels, and Jan de Jong, CEO of the Eredivisie League. Also in attendance were Salem Belyouha, CEO of Media Content Sector, Hassan Habib, Head of Dubai Sports Channel, and several renowned sports analysts.
As part of the deal, Dubai Sports Channels will offer more than just live matches. Viewers can expect in-depth weekly analysis, exclusive interviews with players and coaches, and behind-the-scenes coverage that dives into the heart of Dutch football.
This move is part of Dubai Media’s broader vision to connect regional audiences with global sports, reinforcing its role as a leading broadcaster in the Arab world.
