Emirates has signed seven new tourism agreements at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, reinforcing its role as a key player in driving visitor arrivals to destinations across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean.

The Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with tourism boards and ministries from Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Seychelles, The Bahamas, Warsaw, and Nigeria. Each partnership is aimed at boosting destination visibility and strengthening inbound travel through joint marketing efforts, familiarisation trips, and trade collaboration.

In Southeast Asia, Emirates renewed its longstanding partnership with Tourism Malaysia, focusing on promoting the country’s landscapes, culture, and cuisine. Plans include media and travel agent trips to key regions and targeted marketing across the airline’s global network.

The airline also extended its three-year collaboration with Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau. Emirates carried over 240,000 passengers to the island from April 2024 to March 2025, helping the country cross the 2 million visitor mark last year.

In North Africa, Emirates and the Moroccan National Tourist Office are aligning efforts with Morocco’s goal to attract 17.5 million visitors annually by 2026. The partnership includes marketing campaigns and trade incentives to position Morocco as a top-20 global destination.

Tourism bodies from Seychelles, The Bahamas, and Nigeria also renewed or launched new partnerships with the airline, aimed at leveraging Emirates’ global network to drive visitor traffic and showcase each destination’s unique appeal.

For the first time, Emirates signed a deal with the Warsaw Tourism Organisation to promote the Polish capital as a key Central European destination through joint promotions and industry engagement.

These agreements highlight Emirates’ strategic push to support global tourism recovery and growth through targeted, collaborative initiatives.
