Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) said that this year's Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) will a have 25-hour sale that will offer discounts of up to 90% and a raffle draw that will give away one million dirhams in cash.
The 25th DSS, which will go from Friday July 1st through Sunday September 4th, has been at the heart of Dubai’s summer season for a quarter of a century, added Ahmed Al Khaja, at a news conference today to present the highlights of this year's edition of the much-awaited summer extravaganza where the visitors spending AED500 or more at The Dubai Mall will stand a chance of winning the big prize of one million dirhams. In addition to this, shoppers can win Emaar Gift Cards worth AED25,000 in eight weekly draws during the period of DSS.
During its grand opening weekend, DSS will also offer an exclusive, specially curated flash sale on hotel stays, which will only be available for 24 hours. The sale will include unbeatable offers from hotels around the city.
Modesh World, one of the main attractions of DSS, makes a grand return to the Dubai World Trade Centre from July 1 until August 28. Families can enjoy a wide range of retail and F&B pop-up experiences and engaging activities in an immersive theme park experience.
This year DSS will feature several activities and offers, including movie nights, mall activations, restaurant offers and retail sales.
