Dubai Taxi Company PJSC (DTC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ajman-based AJ Industries LLC (AJI) to explore a strategic partnership aimed at expanding mobility services across the Emirate of Ajman.
The agreement creates a collaborative framework that combines AJI's local market expertise with DTC's operational capabilities, digital infrastructure, and transport management experience. Together, the two companies will work to develop a scalable mobility platform designed to serve both mass-market and premium segments.
DTC Group CEO Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi noted that the company already has a presence in Ajman through school bus operations run in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. He described the MoU as a significant step in DTC's broader strategy to extend its footprint across the UAE, bringing digital platforms and innovative transport solutions to Ajman's residents, visitors, and wider economy.
AJI Group CEO Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi said the partnership reflects a shared belief that the next phase of mobility will be driven by collaboration between partners with both technological capability and deep local market understanding.
Key areas under exploration include integrating e-hailing platforms such as Bolt into Ajman's existing taxi network, optimising local fleet operations, and enhancing digital booking and dispatch systems. The MoU also covers flexible driver provisioning solutions to ensure a scalable supply of qualified drivers in line with growing demand.
Both parties will additionally assess opportunities in the limousine sector, including premium fleet upgrades, advanced technology integration, and new business models spanning corporate mobility, tourism partnerships, and on-demand transport services.
The collaboration supports the UAE's broader vision for sustainable, technology-led mobility and positions the joint platform as a potential model for replication across other emirates.
