The 17th edition of ArabPlast, an international trade fair for plastics, recycling, petrochemicals, packaging, and rubber industries, will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7th to 9th January 2025. Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum, the event will feature over 750 exhibitors from 35 countries, including national pavilions representing more than 12 nations.
Exhibition Director Nadhal Mohamed Kadar highlighted the significance of the GCC’s abundant natural resources and Dubai's strategic role as a gateway to thriving markets in plastics and petrochemicals. The GCC petrochemical sector contributes over $100 billion annually to the region’s GDP.
The event will showcase cutting-edge technologies and solutions across various industries, including construction, food and beverage, healthcare, and automotive, with a focus on sustainable practices like recycling. Sadiq Al Lawati, Managing Director at OQ, the event's principal sponsor, emphasized ArabPlast's pivotal role in advancing innovation and sustainability in the sector.
