Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Dubai is set to host the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) from 30 September to 2 October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Organised by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), WETEX is the largest sustainability-focused exhibition in the region and one of the most influential global platforms in the energy, water, and green development sectors. With continued support from Dubai’s leadership, the event has grown over the past 25 years into a driving force for clean energy innovation and sustainable development worldwide.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA and Chairman of WETEX, noted that the exhibition plays a crucial role in accelerating the energy transition and supporting national strategies such as the UAE Net Zero 2050 and the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050.
“WETEX promotes the UAE’s leadership in renewable energy across the MENA region,”
he said.
WETEX 2025 will once again bring together thousands of global stakeholders—including government officials, experts, researchers, and private sector leaders—to explore the latest technologies and innovations in sustainability, green mobility, clean energy, smart cities, and more.
The 2024 edition drew over 50,000 visitors and 2,800 exhibitors from 65 countries, showcasing cutting-edge solutions across 21 international pavilions. The event featured specialised zones, forums, and over 130 expert-led sessions covering topics from climate finance to digital integration in energy systems.
As the UAE advances its sustainability goals, WETEX continues to be a strategic platform for shaping a greener, safer future.
