Dubai WoodShow 2026 has opened to significant commercial momentum, recording over AED 250 million in deals on its first day alone and drawing 5,280 visitors and participants from 80 countries to the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Running from 22 to 24 June 2026, the exhibition brings together more than 400 exhibitors, 600 international brands, five country pavilions, and participants from over 45 countries. The scale of this year's edition reinforces its standing as a leading global platform connecting manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, and decision-makers across the timber industry value chain.

Commercial activity remained strong into the second day, with active sourcing discussions, business meetings, and direct negotiations continuing across the show floor. Exhibitors noted rising interest in advanced machinery, automation solutions, smart manufacturing systems, and digital platforms as key drivers of engagement this year.

The conference programme added strategic depth, with sessions anchored in the UAE Vision 2031, the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, and the country's Net Zero 2050 goals. Topics covered advanced wood processing technologies, sustainable timber sourcing, and the growing role of AI, CNC systems, and 3D printing in reshaping the sector.

General Manager Walid Farghal said the second day further confirmed the exhibition's influence on market dynamics, citing the strength of buyer-exhibitor engagement and the clear appetite for technology-driven solutions.

The event also welcomed Saud Al Sheikh, CEO of Saudi WoodShow, scheduled for 1 to 3 September 2026 in Riyadh, who highlighted growing international participation in the upcoming edition.

Running alongside the main show, the International Furniture Accessories, Components and Semi Finished Products Exhibition (IFAC) expanded the platform's scope, bringing together stakeholders focused on materials and solutions driving innovation in furniture production and interior fit-out.
