DXB LIVE, the integrated event management and organisation services arm of the Dubai World Trade Centre, won the Best Community Event Award at the Middle East Event Awards 2022, which was held at Madinat Jumeirah.
This prestigious annual award highlights DXB LIVE's reputation as a leading provider in integrated event services, and reinforces the position of the Dubai World Trade Centre, as a global destination in the MICE sector contributing to strengthening Dubai's position as a regional centre for global business, commerce and tourism.
DXB LIVE received the award for organising a prestigious event for Mubadala commemorating the UAE’s National Day. The celebration was held on the waterfront Corniche of Al Maryah Island, which was transformed into a vibrant oasis.
It brought together all family members, and included a variety of activities and entertainment options, traditional cooking kiosks and food trucks, and culminated in a wonderful and distinctive display of fireworks that lit the skies of the Emirates in the colours of the union.
DXB LIVE designed and executed hundreds of pavilions and exhibition stands during 2021 and 2022. Earlier this year, in January DXB LIVE also launched the hugely successful "World of Coffee" event in conjunction with Dubai EXPO.
On this occasion, Khaled Al Hammadi, Senior Vice President of DXB LIVE, said:
"It gives us great pleasure to win this important award, which comes in appreciation of our considerable efforts and the role we play in promoting the events industry at the local, regional and global levels. Despite the pandemic, Dubai World Trade Centre and DXB LIVE were able to overcome any challenges, and continued to grow and develop as the industry regained its strength again. We met the requirements and goals of customers, and offered them the best return on their investment, which is what is what continuously strive for."
