The Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) has announced the launch of the 23rd edition of its annual “Clean UAE” campaign, set to commence on December 5 under the patronage of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.

This initiative aims to mobilize public and private sector organizations, academia, and individuals in a collective effort to promote environmental protection and sustainability.

Habiba Al Mar’ashi, Founder and Chairperson of EEG, emphasized the campaign's significance, which will cover all seven emirates. The activities will kick off in Ajman on December 5, with subsequent events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and concluding in Umm Al Quwain by December 14.

Al Mar’ashi urged society to actively participate, stating that collaboration with local and federal government entities, academic institutions, and private companies is crucial for enhancing environmental preservation, promoting recycling, and reducing carbon emissions.

By engaging with the "Clean UAE" campaign, organizations can align with sustainability efforts, raise pollution awareness, and participate in community-driven volunteer activities. Sponsorship packages offer branding opportunities and media exposure, alongside participation in tree planting and clean-up events, reinforcing commitment to a greener future.

The campaign aims to increase public awareness of pollution's environmental and health risks, foster volunteerism, and inspire community support for national sustainability initiatives. Through regular participation in clean-ups, individuals and organizations can significantly contribute to preserving the UAE’s natural beauty and promoting positive environmental practices.

Al Mar’ashi noted that the campaign reflects the importance of environmental culture and encourages society to adopt sustainable practices, ensuring the UAE’s urban and natural environments remain beautiful for generations to come.
