Emaar Properties PJSC posted a robust first-half performance in 2026, with revenue climbing 21 percent to AED23.9 billion and net profit before tax rising 23 percent to AED12.8 billion, underscoring the Dubai-based developer's continued momentum across its diversified business lines.

Property sales reached approximately AED26.6 billion during the period, while EBITDA grew 24 percent to AED12.9 billion. The company's revenue backlog, a key indicator of future earnings visibility, rose 13 percent year-on-year to AED164.9 billion as of 30 June 2026.

Emaar Development, the group's UAE-focused arm, delivered even sharper growth, with revenue up 34 percent to AED13.3 billion and net profit before tax surging 41 percent to AED7.8 billion. The unit launched 11 new residential projects across masterplans including Emaar South, Dubai Hills Estate and The Oasis, and unveiled a new AED200 billion masterplan to extend its long-term pipeline.

Internationally, Emaar's development business generated AED4.2 billion in property sales, with Egypt and India driving performance and contributing 4.6 percent of group revenue.

The company's recurring income streams also held steady. Shopping malls, retail and commercial leasing revenue rose 9 percent to AED3.5 billion, with occupancy at 98 percent, while hospitality and leisure operations brought in AED1.6 billion, supported by 60 percent hotel occupancy across the UAE.

Founder Mohamed Alabbar attributed the results to the company's discipline and long-term outlook, crediting Dubai's leadership for fostering a stable, transparent environment that continues to attract global capital and talent.

With a land bank of roughly 590 million square feet, including 316 million square feet within the UAE, Emaar said it remains well positioned to sustain growth momentum through the remainder of 2026.
