Emirates and Costa Cruises Renew Partnership Until 2027

Emirates and Costa Cruises have renewed their partnership through 2027, further establishing Dubai as a leading global cruise destination.

The announcement, made at ITB Berlin, marks two decades of successful collaboration between the airline and the cruise line, aimed at enhancing the travel experience for passengers and boosting Dubai’s appeal as a seamless cruise hub.

The renewed partnership will see joint marketing efforts, synchronized flight scheduling, and dedicated capacity to meet cruise passenger demand from key markets across Emirates’ vast network. To ensure a smooth travel experience, both companies will focus on data sharing, service improvements, and dedicated support teams for cruise passengers at Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal.

The partnership also promises enhanced transport solutions between Dubai International Airport and the cruise terminal, further elevating Dubai’s integrated air, land, and sea connectivity. Costa Cruises, which has been operating from Dubai Harbour since 2006, will deploy its flagship, Costa Toscana, in the upcoming winter season.

Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates, highlighted the growth potential of the cruise travel segment and its positive economic impact on Dubai. Daniel Caprile, Vice President at Costa Cruises, emphasized the strategic importance of Dubai and Emirates in enhancing connectivity and creating exceptional travel experiences for passengers.

Dubai continues to innovate with streamlined visa processes and state-of-the-art port facilities, including 12 Emirates check-in counters at Dubai Harbour, allowing cruise passengers to check in up to four hours before their flight and explore the city without luggage. This partnership reinforces Dubai’s reputation as a world-class hub for cruise travel.
