Dubai's largest bank, Emirates NBD, has launched a pioneering service offering digitally stamped bank statements to its customers.
This initiative aims to streamline processes for visa applications to destinations such as the US and Europe, as well as for loan applications. The digital stamp on these statements enhances their validity and acceptance, crucial for securing visas from foreign missions in the UAE.
Acknowledging varying global acceptance standards, Emirates NBD assures flexibility by also providing traditional paper statements upon request. Customers can apply for these services through the bank's app, website, or call center, with paper statements delivered via courier within two days for a nominal fee.
"We are committed to providing flexible solutions tailored to our customers' needs,"
stated Emirates NBD. This innovation not only simplifies access to crucial documents but also aligns with environmental sustainability goals by reducing paper consumption and minimizing carbon footprint.
Emirates NBD's digital stamp service marks a significant advancement in banking convenience, allowing customers to manage their financial documentation efficiently from anywhere. The bank remains the first in the UAE to offer this digital stamping facility, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions.
For customers needing statements spanning over six months up to three years, Emirates NBD facilitates requests at its branches with valid identification. The digitally stamped statements are issued promptly within five working days, with notifications sent to customers via SMS.
