Emirates has signed a series of new strategic partnerships with the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), IDP Education, and Huawei, aiming to enhance customer experience, expand global influence, and support key growth sectors.
Announced during Arabian Travel Market 2025, the agreements reflect the airline’s push to diversify its value offerings and tap into high-impact industries such as business events, international education, and digital innovation.
With ICCA, Emirates has inked a Memorandum of Understanding to bolster the global meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry. The move supports Dubai’s ambition to be a leading destination for international conferences and aligns with the emirate’s D33 economic agenda. The partnership will promote smoother air connectivity for association meetings and foster knowledge exchange across the global events ecosystem.
In the education sector, Emirates has teamed up with IDP Education to offer exclusive travel benefits to students and educators. The partnership will roll out first in the Middle East and North Africa, featuring discounted fares, extra baggage allowance, and flexible bookings. It aims to support international student mobility and enhance the airline’s presence in key academic hubs worldwide.
Meanwhile, Emirates and Huawei have renewed and expanded their collaboration, focusing on digital innovation across the Middle East, North Africa, and China. Emirates will be among the first airlines to adopt Huawei’s HarmonyOS NEXT watch app and will continue enhancing its app on Huawei’s AppGallery. The companies also plan co-branded campaigns and coordinated promotions for Emirates’ upcoming Shenzhen route.
Together, these partnerships reflect Emirates’ commitment to driving strategic growth and delivering greater value across its diverse customer base.
