Emirates has reaffirmed its status as a global aviation leader, winning four top honours at the Business Traveller Middle East 2025 awards, including ‘Best Airline Worldwide’ for the twelfth year running.

The Dubai-based airline also claimed ‘Best First Class’, ‘Best Premium Economy Class’ and ‘Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East’, underscoring its ongoing investment in premium service and passenger experience.

Senior executives Adil Al Ghaith and Dr Nejib Ben Khedher accepted the accolades on behalf of the airline at the ceremony, which celebrates excellence across the business travel industry through a transparent public voting process.

The awards come as Emirates continues to enhance its offerings both in the air and on the ground. Its fleet retrofit programme, launched in 2022, has now fully upgraded 51 aircraft, with more to follow. Emirates also recently welcomed its first A350 aircraft, equipped with next-generation features and cabin products.

By the end of 2025, Emirates plans to operate over 70 destinations with a mix of refurbished Boeing 777s, A380s, and new A350s, providing a seamless travel experience across its network.

Emirates’ First Class continues to set the benchmark in luxury, offering private suites, gourmet dining, and high-end amenities. Its Premium Economy, introduced in 2022, has quickly gained global acclaim for delivering near-business class comfort at a more accessible price point.

On the ground, Emirates’ First Class Lounges at Dubai International Airport offer an elevated experience with fine dining, spa treatments, and curated retail options.

According to Brand Finance, the airline’s brand value soared to $8.4 billion in 2024, making it the world’s most valuable airline brand outside the US and the most valuable in the Middle East.
