Dubai is set to welcome the world’s largest gathering of startups and investors as the 10th edition of Expand North Star opens today October 12, at Dubai Harbour.
The four-day event, running until October 15, marks a major milestone in positioning Dubai as a global powerhouse for digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
Organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, this year’s edition is the most ambitious yet, offering unmatched opportunities for funding, partnerships, and growth in the technology sector. The event highlights Dubai’s growing influence as a hub for startups and investors shaping the digital economy.
Among the new additions is ScaleX, a curated market access programme for 50 of the world’s fastest-growing tech scaleups, and North Star Green Impact, a new zone focused on climate and environmental innovation. The Deeptech MEA Summit will explore advancements in AI and robotics, while the Digital Assets Forum will examine the evolving landscape of global finance.
Returning favourites include the Supernova Challenge 2.0, the world’s largest startup pitch competition with a US$250,000 prize pool, and the Corporate Arena, which connects founders, corporate leaders, and investors. Specialised events such as Marketing Mania and the Tech Transfer Innovation Forum will also return, fostering collaboration between research, business, and technology.
Expand North Star serves as a key pillar of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy’s strategy to transform Dubai into a leading global digital economy, aligning with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
