flydubai has signed interline agreements with Air India and Uzbekistan Airways, opening up more than 80 additional destinations across Asia, Australia and Europe for its passengers.

The partnerships give flydubai travellers seamless onward connections through the two carriers' networks, while offering Air India and Uzbekistan Airways customers easier access to flydubai's routes via Dubai. Both deals include single-ticket itineraries and through-checked baggage, making transfers more convenient for passengers on connecting journeys.

The agreements bring flydubai's total interline network to 46 partner airlines, underlining the carrier's growing role in strengthening Dubai's position as a global aviation and trade hub.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, said the tie-ups mark a step forward in the airline's expansion strategy, with Air India opening up South Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia, and Uzbekistan Airways adding a corridor through Central Asia, Russia and into Europe.

Through Air India, flydubai passengers will be able to reach Indian cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa and Jaipur, along with international destinations such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. Air India's Chief Commercial Officer Nipun Aggarwal said the partnership reflects the carrier's push to broaden its global reach and connectivity.

Uzbekistan Airways will link passengers via Tashkent to destinations including Moscow, Frankfurt, London, Paris and Rome, as well as domestic points such as Bukhara and Fergana. Uzbekistan Airways Chairman Shukhrat Khudaykulov described the deal as the start of a new chapter of cooperation between the two airlines.

Since beginning operations in 2009, flydubai has grown into one of the region's most extensive networks, serving more than 120 destinations. Combined with its interline and codeshare agreements, the airline now offers access to over 300 destinations worldwide.
