Global Village returns for its 31st season on October 14, welcoming guests from 6 PM with 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets and more than 200 attractions.
Refreshed experiences include the Sri Lanka Pavilion and the Russia and Azerbaijan Pavilion, while the Syria and Kuwait pavilions return with renewed façades. Guests can also collect stamps in a redesigned Season 31 Passport, with a new Kids Passport introduced for younger explorers. Stamping stations are placed in every pavilion.
The dining lineup grows to more than 250 options. Trabzon Turkish Restaurant joins the destination, and Restaurant Plaza adds Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking. Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café are the three new cafés, and the Dessert District has a refreshed façade.
Thrill seekers can look forward to Tokyo Rush, a new roller coaster with a loop and sharp turns, launching later in the season. Returning favourites include The Dragon Kingdom, The Horror Hotel and Exo Planet City.
The entertainment programme features 40,000 shows. New this year are the stunt production Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back and two anchor shows, Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist. Slam returns, and the Kids Theatre brings back Care Bears and PJ Masks.
Visitor convenience has also been upgraded. New measures include VIP Parking Self-Payment machines, extra Family POD Washrooms, expanded Happiness Gate ticket counters, bilingual Arabic and English signage and a WhatsApp chatbot for instant support.
