The 28th edition of Intersec Global will run from January 12 to 14, 2027 at Dubai World Trade Centre, anchored by the inaugural Global Readiness Summit.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, the show is organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East and supported by Dubai Civil Defense and the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA).
The exhibition has been restructured around five domains: National Security and Law Enforcement, Cybersecurity and Resilience, Surveillance and Physical Security, Fire, Rescue and Emergency Response, and Safety and Wellbeing. Show Director Dishan Isaac said the model reflects how risks now cascade across physical and digital environments.
The shift follows rapid growth in the sector. A market outlook report commissioned by the organisers projects the global security and safety market will exceed US$1.48 trillion by 2030.
Organisers expect more than 1,000 exhibitors, 200 speakers and visitors from over 150 countries. Italy joins as Country Partner for the first time, with a 240-square-metre pavilion hosting 12 national exhibitors.
Lieutenant General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi of Dubai Civil Defense said the new Fire, Rescue and Emergency Response domain will help advance a more proactive model of civil protection. SIRA CEO Khalifa Ibrahim Alsaleis said smart regulation can enable innovation while protecting communities.
Nathan Waugh, Portfolio Director at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said the aim is to turn innovation into readiness through strategic intelligence and international collaboration.
