Compared to 2021, Hyundai and Genesis witnessed a collective growth of 42% in 2022, with Hyundai recording a 37% growth, driven by its top three selling models: the Tucson, Accent and Elantra. There was also a rising demand for its flagship seven-seater SUV, the Palisade, which comes with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment display, automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with a semi-autonomous driving mode, and remote smart parking assist, among many other features.
Over on the Genesis front, the brand witnessed an incredible 131% growth in 2022 compared to 2021, driven by the GV70, GV80, and the G80, thanks to their luxury product designs, performance, innovative features, and added package that comes with, among other perks, five years of free warranty.
Further consolidating its keen attention to customer needs, Juma Al Majid Est. launched the UAE’s first exclusive Genesis showroom in Deira, Dubai, designed to reflect Genesis’ brand vision by offering the very best care for customers. At the closing of 2022, the dealer also celebrated 40 years of a successful partnership with Hyundai in the presence of Mr Jae-Hoon ‘Jay’ Chang, the president and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company.

On 25 January 2023, as part of an internal awards ceremony to recognise the achievements of JAME companies and business entities, Hyundai and Genesis UAE won the Best Performance award – KPI. Juma Al Majid Est will be introducing to the market a number of new models, including the Genesis GV70, GV60, and G80 electric vehicle lineup, as well as the Hyundai IONIC 5, IONIC 6, and the 2023 KONA.
