The Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Group to build a long-term framework for developing future leaders in the aviation sector.
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee, witnessed the signing during the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum. Organised by MBRCLD, the annual gathering brought together 1,000 senior figures from Dubai’s government and private sectors.
Majid Al Shamsi, Director of MBRCLD, and Amira Al Falasi, Senior Vice President of Training and Development at the Emirates Group, signed the agreement. Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of The Executive Office and of MBRCLD, attended.
The MoU covers preparing Emirati leaders to shape the future of aviation, supporting high-potential national talent and building capabilities linked to coming transformations in the sector. The two organisations will explore a specialised leadership programme for future aviation leaders. They will also launch a platform that connects Emirates Group leaders with participants and graduates of MBRCLD programmes to share expertise and strengthen knowledge transfer.
Sheikh Mansoor said Dubai remains committed to cultivating highly qualified Emirati talent across all major sectors. He stressed the value of collaboration between the city’s institutions in achieving national development goals and strengthening the UAE’s standing on the global economic stage.
Al Gergawi said the partnership reflects the Centre’s commitment to equipping national talent with the knowledge and experience needed to take part in the country’s development and assume decision-making responsibility in major institutions. He noted that MBRCLD has graduated hundreds of Emirati leaders across vital sectors over more than 20 years.
