The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with the Arab Publishers’ Association (APA) to strengthen regional publishing networks and promote knowledge sharing across the Arab world.
The agreement, signed at MBRF’s headquarters by CEO Jamal bin Huwaireb and APA President Mohamed Rashad, establishes a framework for joint initiatives in publishing, printing, and professional training. It also supports industry professionals through translation rights management, intellectual property exchange, and innovation-driven projects.
Under the MoU, both parties will organise workshops and collaborative events aimed at empowering publishers and showcasing Arab literary works on MBRF’s Digital Knowledge Hub.
Bin Huwaireb described the partnership as a step forward in advancing knowledge accessibility and intellectual development, in line with the UAE’s vision of becoming a global hub for education and cultural exchange.
Rashad highlighted the shared commitment to strengthening the Arab publishing industry through practical initiatives and professional support, calling the partnership a catalyst for meaningful progress.
The MoU reinforces MBRF’s broader mission to nurture knowledge-based societies, encourage reading, and drive innovation in creative industries across the region.
