The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives has allocated AED 150 million to support UAE-based charitable and humanitarian organisations, helping them launch impactful projects locally, regionally and internationally.

The announcement was made in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MBRGI. It came during the signing of 11 partnership agreements, attended by Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Secretary-General of MBRGI.

The allocation is part of efforts to sustain the UAE’s legacy of giving and reinforce its standing as a global capital of humanitarian action. Sheikh Hamdan said MBRGI continues to provide all the necessary means to advance charitable and humanitarian work, guided by the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. He added that the move builds on the foundation’s role since its establishment in 2015.

Agreements were signed with Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, Tarahum Charity Foundation, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Establishment, Emirates Health Services, the UAE Food Bank, Beit Al Khair Society, Dar Al Ber Society, Al Jalila Foundation, Fujairah Charity Association, Noor Dubai and the Digital School.

MBRGI is the region’s largest foundation of its kind. It committed more than AED 2.3 billion in 2025 to benefit about 165 million people in 122 countries. Its work spans five pillars: humanitarian aid and relief, healthcare and disease control, education and knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship, and community empowerment.

The foundation consolidates more than 30 initiatives and institutions sponsored by Sheikh Mohammed over more than two decades.
