The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) is participating in the Big 5 Global, the region’s premier event for the construction sector, to showcase cutting-edge solutions aimed at sustaining and modernizing infrastructure.
At the event, the Ministry is highlighting innovations such as AI-driven project management tools and advanced technologies to optimize energy and water consumption. These initiatives align with the UAE’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation.
Hassan Mohammed Al Mansouri, Under-Secretary for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs at MoEI, emphasized the Ministry's dedication to adopting global best practices and fostering partnerships with the private sector.
“Our participation underscores our commitment to collaboration with industry leaders to sustain the sector, reduce emissions, and enhance the environment,"
he said.
Al Mansouri spotlighted key national initiatives, including the 'UAE National Guide for Smart Construction', which standardizes smart construction practices and integrates advanced technologies into new projects. The Ministry has also developed comprehensive sustainability guidelines covering roads, buildings, operations, and housing.
A standout innovation is the 3D Digital Twin project, a groundbreaking platform that digitally maps urban infrastructure, enabling precise planning to enhance cities' livability and sustainability.
Al Mansouri further noted that the UAE boasts one of the most sustainable infrastructures globally, supported by a world-class federal road network that addresses the growing demand for land transport.
The MoEI's participation in Big 5 Global underscores its proactive approach in shaping a sustainable and innovative future for the UAE’s construction and infrastructure sectors.
