The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has been awarded the Merit Award for the Website category at the prestigious Web-based Digital Health Awards, organised by the Health Information Resource Centre (HIRC).
This recognition is a testament to the Ministry’s continuous efforts to enhance its digital ecosystem in alignment with the UAE Digital Government Strategy 2025.
The award-winning website boasts a modern, user-friendly design, seamlessly integrating high-performance efficiency with ease of use. Services are now reorganised to offer a more interactive digital environment, streamlining access to information and services for users. A newly introduced advanced indexing system further simplifies searches, while a consistent visual design aligns with the Ministry’s corporate identity.
Abdullah Ahli, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector, expressed pride in the achievement, stating that the award reflects MoHAP’s commitment to innovation and technology in advancing UAE healthcare. He added,
"This recognition affirms the expertise of our teams and reinforces our efforts to enhance service quality and efficiency."
Hamda Al Mazmi, Acting Director of the Information Technology Department, highlighted the website’s innovative features, designed to meet customer expectations and provide reliable information while strengthening MoHAP’s visual identity.
The Digital Health Awards, judged by international experts, recognises excellence in digital health solutions and encourages the ongoing development of initiatives that improve healthcare services.
