The UAE National Jiu-Jitsu Team is preparing to take part in the 11th edition of the World Games hosted by Birmingham in the US.
The country will be represented at the event by Faisal Al Ketbi in the 85 kg category, Muhammad Al Suwaidi at 69 kg, Muhammad Al Omari at 77 kg, and Shamma Al Kalbani at 63 kg.
The team aims to repeat the achievement of Al Ketbi in 2017 in Poland.
After finishing a 30-day training camp in the UAE, the team will begin the event in high spirits, after the country’s achievements in the event’s previous edition,
said, Faisal Al Ketbi.
He added that,
Qualifying for the World Games was not easy, after completing several regional and international competitions and acquiring the necessary points to participate.
