Private, public sector across UAE to remain closed for three days, starting May 14

Federal, local and private sector entities, ministries and departments in the UAE will remain closed for three days, starting May 14, to mourn the demise of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Work across the public and private sector will resume on Tuesday, May 17, according to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.

The Ministry of Presidential Affairs; Ministries, departments, federal and local institutions and private sector institutions will remain closed for three days from tomorrow (Saturday). Official working hours will resume next Tuesday.

Schools across the emirate of Dubai will also remain closed until Monday, and will resume on Tuesday next week.

Schools, universities, early childhood centres and training institutes will be closed on Monday, reopening on Tuesday next week.
