Q Mobility and Parkin Company PJSC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to align their parking operations across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, marking one of the most significant partnerships yet in the UAE's smart mobility drive.

As the leading public parking operators in their respective emirates, the two organisations aim to digitally connect their ecosystems and roll out shared technology-led solutions.

The agreement brings together the two largest players in the country's parking sector, setting the stage for a joint roadmap of pilot projects built around artificial intelligence, data analytics and advanced digital tools. These technologies are expected to improve occupancy management, forecast demand more accurately and raise overall service quality across both emirates.

A central goal of the partnership is system integration. Q Mobility and Parkin plan to link their digital platforms so residents and visitors can access parking services and settle fees through a single, secure channel, regardless of which emirate they are in. The companies will also examine how to responsibly share data and technical expertise, in line with UAE data protection regulations, while working to strengthen governance and make better use of existing infrastructure.

Mohamed Husain Karmastaji, CEO of Q Mobility, described the collaboration as a reflection of a shared ambition to build smarter, more connected mobility solutions, adding that the MoU lays the groundwork for deeper integration between the two ecosystems.

Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, called the deal a strategic milestone for the national parking sector, noting that parking is increasingly viewed not as a standalone service but as a core part of the broader urban mobility landscape, one his organisation intends to shape through data and digital innovation.

The partnership reinforces the UAE's broader push to position itself as a regional leader in smart, sustainable urban infrastructure.
